Dan and I have to stifle a giggle when the priest announces that there is a pancake breakfast after mass.
We enjoyed our time in New York City, but I think Dan and I agree… the big city just isn’t for us.
As we continue our year of travel, I find inspiration in many places. Boston is a city bursting with history, the beauty of nature, and inspiration aplenty. It’s also a great city to visit with young children.
Finding pieces of history is one of the great joys travel.
Although summer will always be my favourite season, there’s no denying that fall brings inspiration with its beautiful colours. In Maine, we’re treated to these colours in full display.
In Prince Edward Island, we made friends and gained experiences we will remember forever. And I fell in love with the island of the red sands.

The water sparkles like a million jewels as the sun shines down on the Atlantic, and as I look on, I know that the beauty and wonder of the ocean will never cease to amaze me. I am Vó Zilah’s granddaughter, and at the risk of quoting a famous Disney movie, the ocean… “it calls me.”
